What happens during Open Lakou Hours?
Very simple things. People arrive. Coffee and herbal tea are served. Conversations happen. Sometimes there’s music, sometimes silence. You can stay for five minutes or a few hours. There’s no schedule to keep up with.

Is it free?
Yes - Open Lakou Hours are free and open to the community. Some special moments, like dinners or evening celebrations, are ticketed. Those help keep the rest of the space accessible.

Not for "Open Lakou Hours" just come by. Space is limited, so we may pause entry if the Lakou is full. Ticketed events and dinners do require advance booking.
---------
Is this a café? A wellness studio? An event?
Not exactly and that’s the point. Lakou December borrows from all three but doesn’t fully belong to any of them. It’s a gathering space first.

What should I bring with me?
Yourself. Comfortable clothes. Curiosity. For morning movement sessions, bring a yoga mat if you have one.
